Bike pedals, Public Bikes recalled

Just a quick entry today about these pedals, which were sold on Public brand bikes and possibly on others:

If you have some, you can get new pedals - see the link for details. They look like the pedals on a lot of utility bikes. Public has recalled their 2010 through 2012 bikes to fix this.

Search the CPSC website (accessible through www.recalls.gov, or link to this bike search on CPSC) to see the other zillion things they have recalled lately, most not really applicable to utility bikes...

    There are a few more interesting recalls I just found. One is Trail-a-bikes made by InStep, Schwinn and Mongoose -http://www.cpsc.gov/CPSCPUB/PREREL/prhtml08/08156.html - and there are more with stems, cranks, handlebars, front forks... Look at the site for more.
